Hands-on Sessions:

Crown-lengthening Surgery: A Step-by-Step Guide
Course facilitated by Dr. Matthew Mason

This intensive half-day practical course is aimed at providing General Dental Practitioners who have taken the pre-course webinar with further knowledge and experience relating to surgical periodontal treatment.

The course will be a hands-on practical session where participants will be improving their crownlengthening surgical skills. The hands-on element will provide lots of opportunity to practice surgical techniques on gingival tissues.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the concept of biologic width and explore its relationship with restorative dentistry.
  • Identify indications/contraindications and evaluate hard/soft tissue considerations for crown lengthening.
  • Utilize clinical skills in crown lengthening and suturing.

Digital Planning for Esthetic and Functional Success
Course facilitated by Drs. Ingeborg De Kok, Wendy Clark, Renata Camino Navarro and Ibrahim Duqum

The main aim of the program is to equip participants with tools, tips and techniques to incorporate digital technologies for easier and more predictable practice.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Gain hands-on experience in utilizing digital capture and design
  • Apply practical exercises using 3D casts, scanners, trial smiles and dentforms
  • Utilize digital tools and techniques for better patient outcomes in prosthetic, cosmetic and implant dentistry
