Ritter to Serve as Consultant for Naval Postgraduate Dental School

Dr. André Ritter, interim chair of the Department of Operative Dentistry, has been invited to serve as a consultant to the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Md. The invitation was extended by Captain Glenn Munro, who serves with the United States Navy Dental Corps.

“It is an honor to serve as an Operative Dentistry consultant for the Naval Postgraduate Dental School. This distinction brings recognition to our School of Dentistry and to our Department. I look forward to enhancing our relationship with the US Navy Dental Corps,” said Ritter.

As a consultant with the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, Ritter will provide CE courses in the Operative Dentistry Naval Dental School and be available as an advisor when faculty and course directors have questions about curriculum and discipline-specific content. Only six other experts in the U.S. hold this designation.

Ritter’s appointment with the Naval Postgraduate Dental School will be active until 2017, and continued dependent on his future availability.
