Director of UNC Craniofacial Center Featured on UNC Health Care Website

Dr. Amelia Drake, director of the UNC Craniofacial Center, was recently featured in a Real Doctors, Real People segment on the UNC Health Care website. The Craniofacial Center is part of the UNC School of Dentistry and consists of an interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to caring for patients with craniofacial abnormalities. Dr. Drake is active in the Craniofacial Center and works across disciplines with many other dental and medical professionals to improve the lives and health of her patients.

Both the article and video portions of the feature highlight Dr. Drake’s participation in rowing crew, an activity she’s enjoyed since boarding school. She remains active in rowing because of the comfort she finds in its repetitive motion and the strong reliance on teamwork.
