Biosketch
Rick Walter is an associate professor of operative dentistry in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health. He served as a full-time faculty member in operative dentistry at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, he moved to UPenn where he served as an assistant professor until early 2014. He then returned to the Adams School of Dentistry in 2014. Walter is active in laboratory and clinical research in dental materials, mainly in resin-based restoratives. He also practices restorative and esthetic dentistry in Carolina Dentistry at the Adams School of Dentistry.
