ACDE: Most Common Oral Lesions: What You Need to Know in Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Radiology

The UNC Adams School of Dentistry in conjunction with the Association for Continuing Dental Education (ACDE), along with 30 of its member schools jointly presents the “ACDE LIVE Webinar Series.”

This series features university-based key opinion leaders presenting numerous topics on multiple dates and times. Presentations are available to meet every dental health care professional’s schedule and interests.

Webinar Description

This course will cover practical clinical oral pathology with an emphasis on both normal and abnormal conditions commonly seen in the dental practice, including systematic examination and interpretations as well as diagnosis, management, and the use of screening tools and biopsies, by reviewing cases.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Diagnose normal, normal variation, and abnormal conditions
  • Understand the etiology and management of oral lesions
  • Better recognize oral lesions and formulate a differential diagnosis
  • Develop a diagnostic approach including an understanding of the oral soft-tissue biopsy technique
