Orthodontics is the treatment of irregularities of the teeth, jaws, and bite relationship in children and adults. Patients who may benefit from orthodontic care include those with:
- Crowded, misplaced or blocked-out teeth
- Spaced teeth
- Protruding teeth
- Teeth that meet in an abnormal way or do not meet at all
- Difficulty chewing or speaking
- Jaws that shift, make sounds, protrude, or are recessed
- Facial imbalance or asymmetry (features out of proportion to the rest of the face)
Orthodontic care doesn’t just give you a beautiful smile. It improves self-esteem, enhances facial appearance, may help you avoid tooth decay or gum disease, and puts you in a position to have the very best oral health possible.

How we Structure Appointments and Fees
As a learning health care center, there are two provider levels to choose from, each of which come with different fee and length options.

Patients with mobility challenges should park in the Ambulatory Care (ACC) lot and take the free shuttles to the school. Riders will need to inform the shuttle their destination is the dental school. The patient or clinic will need to call the shuttle for pick-up at (984) 974-0465 to return them to ACC parking.
