Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are specialists with extensive education and training who provide treatment for patients with diseases, anomalies and injuries of the face, jaws, mouth and teeth.  

Scope of Practice

Oral surgeons are specifically equipped to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions including cleft lip and palate, facial injuries, neck and oral cancers, dental implants, cosmetic surgery and more.

Patients with mobility challenges should park in the Ambulatory Care (ACC) lot and take the free shuttles to the school. Riders will need to inform the shuttle their destination is the dental school. The patient or clinic will need to call the shuttle for pick-up at (984) 974-0465 to return them to ACC parking.
