Beatrice Williams
Beatrice Williams, Orthodontics Class of 2024, grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia with her parents and three siblings. Growing up, there was never a dull moment in her Ghanaian immigrant household as she spent most of her time training as a competitive cheerleader and classical vocalist.
Beatrice is a first-generation college student. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with honors and distinction with a bachelor’s in exercise and sport science and minors in chemistry and music.
After catching the infamous “Carolina Fever,” she went on to continue her education in Chapel Hill and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Distinction in Community Service and Engagement at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. She is grateful and excited for the opportunity to become a Triple Tar Heel as she pursues her master’s degree in orthodontics at UNC.
Outside of orthodontics and community service, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family as well as hosting mini concerts in her apartment, napping, and finding the latest hidden food gems.
