Rosemary Davis, Periodontology Class of 2023, was born and raised in Florida. She attended the University of Florida in Gainesville where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Davis attended Rutgers University where she completed post-graduate coursework in biomedical science. During her time at Rutgers, she assisted in genomics research at the dental school studying trigeminal neuralgia.
Davis then moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
During her time in dental school, she was an active member of organized dentistry. She worked with the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Student Dental Association to advocate for the dental profession and its patients at both the state and national level.
After graduating dental school, she moved to Chapel Hill to start her periodontology residency at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.
Davis loves spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys pilates, cooking, and traveling.
