Erika Babikow
Erika Babikow, Orthodontics Class of 2023, grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is a first-generation college student and attended Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, majoring in biology and environmental sustainability.
Babikow then worked as an IRTA post baccalaureate fellow at the NIH, studying membrane proteins. After some career exploration, including volunteering at a free clinic, she headed back to Pennsylvania to complete her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at the University of Pittsburgh.
In her spare time, Dr. Babikow likes collecting houseplants and running – she tries to complete one marathon each year. She and her husband, Joe, also enjoy biking, watching the Great British Bake Off, and exploring local dog parks with their Wirehaired Griffon, Kip.
