School Awarded $100,000 Scholarship Grant

The UNC School of Dentistry has been awarded a grant for $100,000 from the WK Kellogg Foundation/ American Dental Education Association to provide scholarships to under-represented minority students ($25,000/year for 4 years, starting now). This opportunity for grant funding came as a consequence of the RWJ Pipeline Grant.

The scholarship funding will be enormously useful in efforts to recruit a more diverse student body to the school and to the profession. The grant will fund five $5000 scholarships in each of the next 4 years.
