Giannobile will present keynote address on prospects of oral regenerative medicine, during the 2011 Dental Research in Review Day, Wednesday February 16th

Dean Stamm welcomes all to the UNC School of Dentistry’s annual Dental Research in Review Day (DRRD) on Wednesday February 16th.

DRRD is an occasion at which we get to know each other’s scientific interests and accomplishments a little bit better. This day lets others at our University and in our School know what each Department, laboratory, investigator group, faculty members, and so many talented students at all levels are intensely focused upon. The program provides the opportunity to review oral presentations and posters, such that suggested refinements can be incorporated, prior to presenting at the larger national or international research meetings.

A key part of the DRRD program is the address of a distinguished scientist. This year, Dr. William Giannobile from the University of Michigan will present recent advances and future prospects on oral regenerative medicine. The talk will be of great clinical and research interest for all levels. The keynote address will be presented at 1:15PM at the MRRB building room G202.

Wednesday Feb 16th will start at 7:15AM with the Dean’s breakfast and opening remarks at 7:45AM. We hope to see you during that day.
