Tyndall Presents Lectures on 3-D Imaging Technology
Dr. Don Tyndall, a professor in the UNC School of Dentistry’s Department of Diagnostic Sciences and General Dentistry, recently presented a lecture on integrating cone-beam computed tomography into the dental curricula.
The UNC School of Dentistry is among the first dental schools to completely integrate this advanced 3-D imaging technology into the DDS, graduate, specialty and dental hygiene curricula.
Tyndall presented the lecture at the 61th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in San Diego.
Tyndall also participated in a panel discussion on cone-beam computed tomography in dentistry at the recent American Dental Association meeting in Orlando.
