Golf Tournament Proceeds to Benefit ASDA, Faculty Award

Registration for the Second Annual Path of Draw Invitational, a golf tournament benefiting the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry’s American Student Dental Association (ASDA) chapter, is now under way.

Proceeds from the Sept. 8 event will benefit the chapter’s activities, specifically ASDA’s faculty appreciation award.

The format is captain’s choice; the entry fee is $125 for single players ($75 for UNC-Chapel Hill students) and $400 per four-person team ($250 for a UNC-Chapel Hill student team).

“Our hope is to provide students, faculty and private practitioners the opportunity to come together and bond outside of their professional lives, while raising money for the future of dentistry,” said Michael Demo, a fourth-year DDS student and event coordinator.

The student-coordinated event will take place at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill.
