Salcetti Leads Colorado Dental Association
Dr. Jeanne M. Salcetti, a UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry alumna, was recently named the new president of the Colorado Dental Association.
She is the first female president in the association’s 121-year history. Salcetti is a board-certified periodontist and has had a private practice in Colorado Springs, Colo., since 1995.
Originally a dental hygienist, Salcetti graduated from the University of Maryland. After serving on the University of Maryland faculty for six years, she pursued her dental degree and graduated from the university in 1991.
She received her certificate in periodontics and master of science degree from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.
In addition to holding every governing office of the Colorado Dental Association during the past four years, Salcetti is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
The Colorado Dental Association, committed to supporting organized dentistry in Colorado, has more than 2,900 members.
