UNC Student Elected SNDA President

Damon Ross, a fourth year dental student at the UNC School of Dentistry, was elected National President of the Student National Dental Association, on August 2, 2005 at the 33rd Annual SNDA Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. SNDA was founded in 1970, and has since grown to become the largest minority dental student organization in the United States. The mission of SNDA is rooted in the ideals of recruitment, retention, and professional transition with focus on rights, interest, and welfare of future dental professionals. SNDA also focuses on identifying and representing the concerns of underrepresented minorities in dental schools across the nation.
