Quest for Excellence in Dental Education Award given to Noriko Satake and UNC Dental Mexico Project

On March 8 in Seattle at the ADEA meeting, the Quest for Excellence in Dental Education Award was given to Noriko Satake (second year dental student) and the UNC Dental Mexico Project. The award was made at the “Student Excellence in Education and Service Symposium” at which time Ms. Satake gave a paper on the UNC Dental Mexico Project. She was honored and shared the authorship of this presentation with UNC dental students Jonelle Grant, John Murdock and Steven Van Scoyoc.
