UNC Hosts the Carolina Institute for Dental Radiology Educators

Each summer the Carolina Institute for Dental Radiology Educators is held at the UNC School of Dentistry. This year’s program allowed dental educators from all over the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico to assemble for a review of major topics in dental radiology, advances in state-of-the-art technology, advanced digital radiology and education methodologies. Dr. Enrique Platin serves as Course Director while Ms. Sally Mauriello, Vickie Overman and Drs. John Ludlow, Don Tyndall and Andre Mol provide additional instruction. The program is sponsored by the Section of Oral Radiology within the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and General Dentistry at UNC.
