Collaboration with the Nat’l University of Singapore

On November 29, 2001 Dean John Stamm signed a memorandum of understanding with the National University of Singapore (NUS) Faculty of Dentistry to establish academic  collaboration and scholarly exchange between the two schools of dentistry.  Activities will include basic and clinical research, graduate studies and continuing education, exchange of information and material, exchange of faculty and staff and the development of student exchange programs.

Dean Stamm was also honored with an invitation to present the 2001 Alumni Association Rotating Visiting Professor lecture.  His lecture, New Insights into Oral and Systemic Diseases was well  received and generated a lively discussion from participants.  Dean Stamm was presented an official NUS tie as a thank you for his thought provoking and timely presentation.
