CCID Inaugural Research Day
The Comprehensive Center for Inflammatory Disorders’ Inaugural Research Day will be held Nov.30, 2001, from 8:00 a.m to 1:30 p.m, at the Friday Center for Continuing Education. As a part of research day, a poster session will be held for all student, fellow, and junior faculty investigators who work in the field of inflammation or inflammatory disorders.
The center invites submission of abstracts to participate in this poster session. The poster session will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 am and 10:00 to10:30 am. Cash awards of up to $1,000 each (depending on the level of participation) will be presented to the best posters in each of four categories: Predoctoral Basic Science, Predoctoral Population Science, Postdoctoral Basic Science, and Postdoctoral Population Science. Abstracts are due Nov. 1, 2001.
Any investigator who works in the field of inflammation and/or inflammatory diseases and disorders is encouraged to submit a poster. Participants need not be members of the CCID nor affiliated with current CCID research projects. Information on abstract submission is available at: http://ccid.unc.edu/research/seminars.htm.
