The Koury Oral Health Sciences Building Campaign

Expanding the Science

Generating more than $7 million in research funding annually (National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, 2008) and consistently ranking in the top 10 in national dental research funding (NIDCR), the School's research operations contribute to the University's excellence in discovery. When the Koury Oral Health Sciences Building is completed, dental research operations will return to the School in even more visible ways than before, connecting basic science and clinical research scholars to every other academic endeavor at the School. Flexible and technologically advanced laboratory work surfaces will be configured according to each study and adjacent conference rooms will encourage face- to- face collaboration. More collaborative spaces, state- of- the-art labs and improved communication will connect research scholars to colleagues around the state, nation and world.
