Enhancing the Educational Experience


Innovative new classroom spaces will allow faculty to deliver education in new ways. The building design feature advanced electronics and technology, including motorized projection screens, projectors, electronic lecterns with presentation controls and surround sound.

UNC dental faculty are essential to the School's efforts to sustain and enhance high academic distinction. Better lab, office, oratory, classroom and conference space will enhance faculty recruitment and retention and provide wide-ranging benefits to students within all programs.

For community practitioners, the Koury Oral Health Sciences Building will usher in a new era of continuing education opportunities. A 32-seat distance learning room will broadcast lectures and seminars over Web or through a direct audiovisual feed.
